Look like, Ipoh is synonym with beansprout chicken (Nga Choy Kai). One would feel incomplete if he/she does not taste it.

Some said, this one is the best in town. Hmm, judging from the crowds....

Nevertheless, we tried the one next door, Onn Kee (main).

It was only 'so-so' for me, I didn't find or taste anything 'so special' about Ipoh beansprout chicken.

Lou Wong's is popular for a reason;
They are the original & the best
So, if you insist on trying thr second best, you will not discover what is so special :-)
